AS I SIT IN MY CAR
by Amari Oubre
As I sit in my car, my anxiety through the roof. Wondering if I made the right decision to come to this college, being far from home in this uncomfortable place filled with strangers. I need to hear my mom's voice. I need to feel her reassurance. Being able to have a person that can comfort you any time or place—you're really lucky to have them.
